In this short, interactive comic, a team of martial arts experts are sent on a mission to retrieve knowledge that is guarded by a large monster! Unfortunately, the team members choose to work alone, but they do not have the skills to defeat their enemy and gain their coveted knowledge… This mirrors the challenges of interdisciplinary research at HESCOR, where researchers must find ways to work together to produce new knowledge that spans multiple disciplines.

To create this comic, we interviewed our researchers within the first year of the project to understand how they were adapting to working interdisciplinarily. In fact, any colored speech are based on quotations from HESCOR researchers on HESCOR and their interdisciplinary work.
