Scientific methods are often unclear and abstract to the general public. In HESCOR, we are actively trying to break down barriers by documenting our interdisciplinary scientific process through easily digestible comics created by Dr. Frederik von Reumont.
We aim to make the processes in this interdisciplinary research project, with all of its hurdles, joys, and complexities, accessible to as many people as possible.
Frederik and HESCOR members, including Dr. Elena Robakiewicz and Vittorio Iannuzzi, have been working hard on the comic’s concept. Recently, Frederik has dived into the drawing process.
We are very excited to document this process and would like to show you a sneak preview here. In the following video you can watch a time lapse of Frederik’s screen recording, which shows his drawing process of one of the comic pages!
