To showcase the work that HESCOR researchers accomplished over its three-year tenure, researchers contributed to a Virtual Exhibition open to the public. The exhibition reflects the collective efforts of the HESCOR network to make interdisciplinary research, and the ways in which scientific knowledge is created, accessible to a wider audience.
Developed over the course of a year, the exhibition brings together the research findings, ideas, and experiences of scientists from different disciplines, offering visitors an insight not only into the results of HESCOR's work but also into the processes, challenges, and opportunities of interdisciplinary research.
The exhibition was developed based on contributions from HESCOR's researchers and postdoctoral fellows in close collaboration with Karl Sedgwick (Domingos Studios) who carried out the creative design and technical development. Karl’s dedication, creativity, and expertise were instrumental in transforming the project's diverse scientific perspectives into an engaging and interactive virtual experience.
Following a year of intensive conceptual, scientific, and creative work, the exhibition was officially opened at the University of Cologne on 23 October 2026. We hope you enjoy your experience with the exhibition and learn more about the broad scientific mission of HESCOR.
